My itinerary to Huangshan as follows:
day 1 ,arrival in Tunxi at 22:30pm in airport,then go to Huangshan International youth hostel day 2, Aug.1 in the morning ,take bus from Tunxi to Tangkou,then start climbing up,then to the GUANGMING PEAK,have a night there in Guangming Hotel. day 2, Aug.2 afternoon,finish all the sightseeing,then go to EAST INTERNATIONAL YOUTH HOSTEL for staying a night. day 3, from TANGJIAQIAO to Huncun ,then go to Yixian,then go back to Tunxi for staying one night in YHA day 4,sightseeing in Tunxi,Then go home...... hi allyhouse...i'm looking for more info on huangshan as well. you seems to have very detailed plan and i'd like to know if the climb up to guangming peak is strenuous. how many hours/miles/km we talking about here?
i should reach huangshan by sept 20th...still dont have a fixed plan yet and might have to skip huangshan is this is not a conducive destination to travel alone... hope you can share some tips! thanks ya!
