| Kenya | Safari's in Kenya? Posted: Thu July 10, 2008 03:49 PM UTC
I have forever wanted to go to Kenya and go on a safari with my boyfriend. I have finally saved enough money to go and I've been browsing the internet looking for good travel guides. I found www.kenya.com and they seen pretty legit and very fun, but I'm worried about safety and if it's a good time to be traveling to Africa... have people heard anything about this company, or know anyone who'se been on a Kenyan Safari?
Let me know! -Susanne |

Done loads of safaris over many years. Some good and some not so good. Couple of tips - go for as long as you can afford as its never long enough and pay the supplement for a private safari to avoid other people's travel sickness and seat rotation. I can supply a few names if you wish.

Susanne, if you visit our pages, we have listed towards the bottom of the pages how we went about doing research on safaris for ourselves and our clients.
We spent 3 months of extensive research interviewing various companies before finally settling on what we feel, gave us the most reliable, as well as most complete "bang for our buck". We also explain about the necessary vaccinations and various requirements you will need when entering Kenya. Also, importance of checking references and license of the tour operator. It is no small investment but, with the right outfitter (such as we were fortunate enough to find), it will be the trip of a lifetime! Homer

There are no current restrictions on kenyan travel at the moment.Kenya is as safe as many tourist destinations worlwide. Infact, the current goverment has raised security to a level not known in kenya in the recent past However be mindful of your safety whenever you travel away from home.
