Posted: Thu July 10, 2008 09:57 AM UTC
Hello everybody,
First of all, sorry for my poor english !
I come in Manila from October to April in Ateneo. Can somebody help to find a flatmate ? Are there websites on sharing flats ? Would someone have a flat that can be shared ?

Thank in advance for your help !

Ateneo de Manila University? This is between Quezon City and Marikina. Be careful, Metro Manila is very extended and has 17 municipalities. If you have an offer, you can verify the address location in this forum.

StefanosS is right - you should be careful. If you are studying at the Ateneo, you could ask them for their list of off-campus accredited housing facilities. The Ateneo de Manila University is along Katipunan Avenue. For your convenience, try to look for an apartment or dormitory on this street or on Esteban Abada Avenue, which is parallel to it. There are dormitories along Esteban Abada. A dormitory may not be what you're looking for, but it may be a temporary solution until you find a flat mate. Try looking up these two avenues on the internet. This district is Xavierville - you may want to limit yourself to that just to avoid the hassle of commuting. If you live on Katipunan or Esteban Abada, you'd be able to walk to school... or take a tricycle or a jeepney and not need to change.
Goof luck!

Wow. That's a lot of information! From what I hear, there are loads of condos along that area. Good luck with the search!
