Yesterday I added 13 pictures to my pages. Yet, the total number of photos given at the top of my HP went down from 2604 to 2593.
There are mistakes on individual pages as well. For instance, I have 15 pictures on my Jurata page but VT says I have just 6. I hope VT sends their computers to school to teach them arithmetics. |

Yesterday some counting was corrected...some photos that were deleted previously were removed from counters. Give it a day to straighten out. If it doesn't I would very much appreciate a note to feedback@virtualtourist.com with details about the miscountings.
you can put it to my attention and i will follow up and get the counts fixed. The more details, the easier I can get it fixed. Many thanks! G PS. I confess I was a literature student and no matter how hard I tried, I always flailed at maths.;( |

Thanks Giampiero. They teach arithmetic in primary school but many of today's children use calculators from the start so later they can't count. Anyway, I didn't want to blame you - it's the computers' fault.
BTW, I hope that you realise that the number of pictures given at the top of the list of the travel pages is higher, even though I understand that it shouldn't include those on the home page and in the albums. |

Thats only .422427035675395432 percent error. Not worth worrying about. OK, he used a calculator!

I posted about this same topic a little while ago.
The green tab on my HP says 5034. On my Travel Map the counter says 5040. But the counter directly under my travel map says 4981. I must say though that the numbers are much closer together than before. So I can see some recalculating has been going on. Almost there... ;-) |

Yes, I agree, the numbers are coming closer to each other. And the 8 pictures I uploaded yesterday have been added to the total.
