Paris Hotel Les Argonautes
Posted: Thu July 10, 2008 07:23 AM UTC
My sister, best friend, and I (ages 24-26) will be in paris for four nights in Sept and we've been looking for some budget hotels. Many of them are already full, however we came across
www.hotel-les-argonautes.com and they were able to accomodate us for 80 euros per night. Ive read reviews here and there and they all say that its a good location, good deal for the price, and the only thing is that it's really loud. This is our first time in Paris, and we were wondering if the location is good? Near Metro station? Easy to access other parts of Paris? Has anyone ever stayed here before? Or any suggestions about the location? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I've never stayed there but can tell you the hotel is right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Probably will be noisy if you want to sleep before 11 o'clock at night but it is very close to everything. St. Michel metro station - 5 mins walk (from here there is also the RER B that goes directly to CDG), Notre Dame is just round the corner, the Marais just a bit further. A whole host of things to see and do in the area. This is a prime location and for 80 Euros you won't find much cheaper around there.Apart from the noise problem I would say, go for it.

Why not go online and get a flat instead. I have paid about 65 Euros a night the last two visits. You have a whole flat, not a 10 ft by 6 ft room for 100 Euros a night, which I have also done. Google 'Paris short term rentals'. The FUSAC site really worked well for me this past May.
