What day and hour are these book markets open in London or the Southbank. I'm mostly interested in Illustrated books. Nothing to expensive. Thanks,

It's only open on Sundays . When I went it was afternoon. You'll have to search stall by stall as each has different types of books, but there are a lot of interesting things to find, not necessarily cheap though. For that try charity shops.

Even they are not cheap now, especially in London. UK charities have become very aware of the potential of their donations (antiques, books, collectors' items etc) and sort/price accordingly. Some (Oxfam comes to mind) even have specialist shops just for CDs/DVDs/vinyl records and books.
