I would like to visit Montreal & Quebec City this fall.
I would like to stay at both Montreal and Quebec City. Having trouble with the Travel Agency trying to set up two stays with a round trip flight from Mpls to Quebec City or Montreal. Hotel suggestions - Whats rail rate between Montreal and Quebec City |

Hi, I would say to stay in the old town in QC for sure. We have stayed at the Chateau Bellevue there, which is on the same square as the more expensive Chateau Frontenac.

In "my" day there was a coach/bus from Montreal to Quebec City and that's the way everyone went, if they didn't drive their own car. You could check out Greyhound. It would help if I knew what and/or where "Mpls" is! Minneapolis?

The easiest way to travel between Montreal and Quebec City is by train (www.viarail.ca) or by bus (http://www.orleansexpress.com/Search.aspx). Traveling by train is more comfortable, but traveling by bus is cheaper and there are buses leaving every hour so you don't need to book a ticket ahead of time.
