| Casablanca | Luggage on Train Posted: Tue July 8, 2008 07:26 AM UTC
Hi all,
I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me if it is possible to take my two suitcases (one large suitcase and the other is a small carry-on bag) on the train. I will be taking the train from Casablanca airport to Rabat and I would like to know if the train can accommodate my luggage. Thanks in advance |

I don't think you will have any problems, The compartments have large overhead luggage racks, If your case is heavy I am sure someone will assist you.

I usually buy a 2nd class ticket when I travel around Morocco excpet when I travel to/from the Casablanca airport, I buy a first class ticket. The main advantage is that the compartment have few seats, less crowded and I find plenty of space for my bags. You are also guaranteed a seat, which a good thing bacuse the train is very popular. The price difference is not big and it is worth it. To give you an Idea a 2nd class ticket From/To Casablanca will cost you arounf 30 dh a 1 st class will cost 50 dh (less than 5 Euro)
