Question Posted By: Replies:
Using a hyperlink in my home page?
Posted: Mon July 7, 2008 09:47 PM UTC
I've been searching to see if there was an earlier forum question on how to put a hyperlink into a VTpage, but could not locate the topic, so I'll ask the question here: How can I add a hyperlink to a page?
Thanks for any advice.

You do it using VTML - I can see from your homepage that you have found VTML already - it's in the help there.

But ask again if you have problems.

% L [ and here you write the URL, and it has to include the http:// ] here you write the text that should be visible, and where you click on % L *
leave out all spaces between the % L [ ... ] ... % L *
and thats all you have to do

Thank you, that sounds easy enough, I'll try it later on today. I'll be happy to be able to add that little bit of technology to my pages, think it's real cool to be able to click on a link and get to the page!
Thanks to both of you for taking to trouble to answer, have a nice day!

It is dead easy. Just make sure you don't leave any spaces, of forget any 'punctuation'.

I know.

I learned how to do it! :-)

Thanks dear friends, I managed it, and yes it was dead easy! One little thing that I might point out in case there is someone else thinking of doing the same thing for the first time. I first used a rounded bracket(),instead of a squared one [] and it would not work, so it is important to get the type of bracket right.

Have a wonderful travel year!
So long,
Agnes
