hi, does anyone know of cheap hotels or accommodation (usd 20-45?) with wireless internet access around kuta to seminyak? thanks!

Hi, its hard to find cheap hotel at Bali with wireless internet
many of them offer dial-up internet. dont accept, it is slow and expensive.
if you want to take a walk, theres lot of location offering free hotspot / wireless internet with speed up to 1Mbps.

here is a list,

Kuta gallerya central. theres a five channel connection, choose the one you like.

Jalan kunti Restaurant Cafe chat, you need to ask username and password 1st.

Oberoi street, ask username and password first from free hotspot provider.

Double six beach, theres some restaurant and hotel with free hotspot.

Melasti Beach resort in Kuta has wi-fi broadband connectivity. I was in the restaurant of this Hotel recently and saw the reception declaring about the free broadband internet connection. If I am not mistaken, the rooms in this Hotel cost approx USD 33 per day and the locaion is very central too. But dont know much about the hotel, because I didnt stay there.

its kind hard to find cheap hotel with wireless internet
if you hape 3g modem on laptop, its more easy if you use im2 3g broadband
speed up to 1,4 Mbps
or if you rent a house for a month or two, use telkom speedy
