A visa question--- i need to renew my 90 day visa for Turkey. is it possible to do it on the Marmaris Rhodes return ferry day trip or will i have to stay on rhodes a while (Rhodes is very expensive)

i wouldn't imagine much will be cheap at this time of year in rhodes - but if you have to stay try Mango Rooms in the Old Town or in Kolymbia there is a bar own ( Heaven Bar) called Manolis ( if he hasn't sold up since last year) who has cheap studio apartments there

I am more than certain that you can get a £10 visa from the customs people, so you should be able to pop to Rhodes and get back same day.

I know of several (foreigners) who have had to pop-over to neighbour country for reneval of visa. Some take it as a weekend away, other do it as short as they can (return as soon as possible).

Day trip should be more than enough time for reneval!

offcourse,there are one day trip to rhodes and return to marmaris.at the same day.its enough for 90 days new visa.ferry cost is 45-50 euro,andnew visa cost,i think its 10 pound.some things are cheaper than marmaris.Forexample cheese and european products like cosmetics.enjoy your 1 day trip.....

if i go on the last day of my 90 day visa and return same day- is it possible that i wont get another 90 day stamp because the old one has time left on it. so i must stay overnight and go the day after it expires.

It really doesnt metter how many days you have visa left.1 day,1 week,1 month doesnt metter.Forexample your valid date over 10th of july.You went rhodes 10,you r gonna need new visa 10th october,you can go earlier but not later.Its not gonna problem for now but might be problem later on.If you go earlier than 10th july,for example 9,you are gonna need new visa 9th october.You are gonna miss one day than who cares.:)So i wanna say and trust me,YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY IN RHODES!!!daily trip is enough
