Renewing visa

I am coming over from marmaris in turkey to rhodes greece so i can renew my turkish visa on the way back again can i do it on a return day trip or will i have to spend a day or two in rhodes if so is there a cheap pension or hostel there?

i don't know if you need to stay out of turkey fo ra couple of days but if you do i doubt very much anything on rhodes will be cheap at this time of year but if you have to stay try Mango Rooms in the old town or in kolymbia go to Heaven Bar and if it is stil owned by a guy called Manos - he has stdios there which are not too expensive

I have never had to do this but it is my understanding that you do not have to stay overnight in Rhodes, you just need to leave Turkey. This will be done by taking the day trip, on your return you queue up and purchase your visa with all the other tourists who will be entering Turkey.
I hope this is OK advice and will save you an expensive overnight stay in Rhodes. Plenty of Turkish people will be able to give on theground advice if mine is incorrect.

if i leave on the last day of my 90 day visa. and return same day i may not get another visa because the other still has time on it before it expires.this is a dilema and if i leave the day after it expires i may be fined for over staying. so it looks like a overnight stay on rhodes

I think if you go and return on the last day of your visa you will be given a new one to prevent an illegal overstay.

I will be entering Turkey myself in July with a current visa but it will have expired before I leave in September so I will be asking for a new visa on my July entry to avoid the fine and the same problem you are experiencing.
