| Kuala Lumpur | Overnight trains to KL Posted: Mon July 7, 2008 03:07 AM UTC
Hi,
Has anyone caught an overnight train from Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur? What are the sleeper carriages like? Do you get to see any scenery before it gets dark? Any tips? Thanks |

oh hi, a close friend of mine recently went on that overnight train from kl to kota bharu and back. and he enjoyed it. the sleeper carriages are adequate, air conditioned, two tiered bed. and with curtains for some privacy. he did mention about hearing two guys' conversation so its definitely not soundproof. the bed is not to bad.
scenarywise, u can see villages, and jungles, trees.. the train doesnt go up ontop a hill so it doesnt offer breathtaking vast views but it offers a a nice view once in a while. hope this helps
