I'm coming to San Diego in a weeks time and I'm hoping to buy a new camcorder while I'm in the US. I've had a quick look at Circuit City's website but they don't seem to stock the one I had in mind (Canon HG10) - can anyone suggest anywhere else that might sell it?

I don't know specifically about the Canon HG10, but there are quite a few place you might check.

Fry's and Best Buy are two that come to mind.

I'd also suggest Wal-Mart.

Yeah, I know there are lots of people who like to shun Wal-Mart, but their prices are much better than the above mentioned and they have a pretty large selection to choose from.

Another idea is that you could go to the Canon website and search for San Diego store locations that carry this model.
