Sagada sagada 1st timer
Posted: Sun July 6, 2008 04:55 AM UTC
Hi, we're planning to go to sagada this weekend and we don't have an idea of which inn/guesthouse would be most strategic. We want something that's accessible in relation to the sites to visit or something at least close to where the action is. Plus, of course something that is reasonably priced. Suggestions from experienced travellers would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

St. Joseph's Inn, Masferre Inn, Sagada Guesthouse, etc. are within 50 meter radius of the town proper. Which means, they are short walking distance to the church, municipal hall, bus/jeepney terminal... about 10 mins walk to the hanging coffins and about 30mins walk to Lumiang and Sumaguing caves, and I think the small falls too (Bokong Falls). Other sites need transpo to be reached.

I second the motion. Sagada's town center is pretty much a small place where most inns and guesthouses are located -- St. Joseph's Resthouse, Sagada Guesthouse, Ganduyan Inn, Masferre Country Inn, Sagada Igorot Inn, Olahbinan Resthouse, etc. Dorm type accomodations are around P150-P200 per head. Double rooms may range from P500-P1000. I recommend St. Joseph.
