I am a little unclear what you mean.

Have you been told that you cannot park your motorhome in a Kerry car park?

Are you complaining that parking motorhomes in car parks (for staying overnight) is not allowed? If so, that is quite usual (and it is in the UK too): you should stay overnight on camp site and caravan parks if you have a motorhome.

If the motorhome is not allowed in the car park at all, that will probably be either because there is not space, or because the council does not want people to park overnight. This can be a problem (and not just with tourists).

I am sure being disabled has absolutely nothing to do with this at all.

The Tourist Board will not have any influence over the council's decision, by the way.

Your use of the word "your" implies that you think the Virtual Tourist website has a council and car parks! Who exactly are you trying to address? Because the people who see your question are other VT members like yourself!
I believe it is not unusual for motorhomes (whoever the driver) not to be allowed in car parks, and that is because car parks are not intended for people to stay/live in. Motorhomes can of course use campsites or caravan parks, and several of those in Kerry have facilities for disabled people, e.g. toilets - so I don't know who exactly you are accusing of discrimination. But VT is not the place to do it, you need to address whichever organisation it is directly.

Car parks are for CARS, and they usually do not let anything in over a certain height either.

Having said that, if you were intending staying there overnight, you might want to think about the cost of parking, it will certainly be more expensive that a camp site.

If your intent is to park whilst shopping or something like that and you are disabled, then you can park in most streets even with parking restrictions providing you display your disability parking badge. You are sometimes limited by time, but park you can.

after driving the incredibly narrow roads of both Ireland and North Ireland all last week; it makes good sense that they limit traffic and access to certain areas for larger vehicles. Try to Enjoy nonetheless!

The narrow roads are part of the charm of Ireland. Nobody is in a hurry & that's the way the world should be.

I like driving the roads of Ireland - but in a motorhome?? Should be exciting.

I cannot imagine trying to park a motorhome in Dingle, but contact the tourist board and set the world right!
