I would like to visit Madonna del Sasso in Locarno on my way from Bellinzonna to Val Maggia. Does anybody know if we can get there by car? Thank you

Hi,
yes, you can drive up to the church. As an alternative you can take the funicular railway from Locarno. Details here: http://maggioreevalli.ticino.ch/15/common_details. Or, my suggestion, take the old Way of the Cross, starting from the centrally located Piazza Grande in Locarno. Have fun in Switzerland Peter
