Has anyone stayed in Jurere for New Years? If so, any advice/suggestions on some nice hotels would be great. Also, which would be a better spot for New Years...Praia Mole or Jurere? Thanks

Hi! It depends what u like the most: Jurere Intl is very fancy, fancy beach clubs, people drinking sparkling wine by the beach... Mole beach is more simple... surfers, nature lovers, lots of beautiful people also but diff tastes.... i like mole beach better...
The entrance for a New years party in Jurere could cost 1000 reais... I cnt tellu a hotel cause we are always with friends and we rent a house for new years there...

OK, I think I have decided on Mole but if I can't find a place to stay for New Years is late November and early december almost as much fun? Or will there be limited night life? Thank you!

Floripa has no limitations when it comes to new year's. Except for the business (like post office, stores etc.) that will remain closed the new years day, all of the clubs, bars, and restaurants are opened. One of the Options would be to spend the new years at Beira Mar Norte, watch the fireworks at midnight and then head to the parties all around the city. Make sure to rent a car so you can easily get from one place to another.

Is it a better option to rent a house in Jurere Int. as oppossed to getting a resort/hotel/poussada? Does anyone know of an agency that rents houses or caters to international travelers (like nexussurf in Praia Mole but focused on Jurere)
