Depending on your budget, I would recommend flying.

We went by bus and it was fine tho a long trip - even with an overnight in PP. The roads are NOT fantastic and we had some really wet weather too - didn't help the road one bit! We were lucky and had 3 great drivers but we did hear of some horror stories too; you wouldn't do it in under 2 days for comfort.
If you can get a flight cheap enough go for it.

The best way is to fly on one of the seven daily flights of vietnam airways. around 140 usd one way.

Hi! from saigon you can take a bus to phomn penh then from phomn penh you can take a bus to siem reap again.bus travel is not expensive.phomn penh is a very nice capital to visit. or maybe you can fly in to siem reap via saigon. happy travel
