Hello, we were thinking of taking a cruise down the River Seine in August. How much do these cruises usually cost and how long do they last?

What is a good place to get on and off?

There are different kinds of cruises offering simple sightseeing tours to complete five-course meals with champagne.

A good place to catch one for a typical sightseeing tour is right next to the Eiffel tower. It lasts a little over an hour and will cost you about 11 euros. Try it just after dusk after the lights begin to come on, it's really quite beautiful, and it will be cool on a hot August evening.

Hi, We took a 1 hour cruise May '07, it was well worth it, nice boat, excellent commentary. we boarded near Notre Dame went past both islands and down past all the famous buildings including the Eifell towere etc and returned. Cost was about 10 Euros, however If you are taking photos try and go on a ferry which has outside seating, you do not have tophoto through the glass ceiling, and you get better angle.
