| Atlantic City | atlantic city to bay head Posted: Thu July 3, 2008 04:03 AM UTC
Hi, I'm trying to go from Atlantic City to Spring Lake w/o spending 4 hrs. in transit. It seems that if I could get to Bay Head(?) I could catch the train. Is there anyone who can help me figure out how to get to Bay Head. Thanks!

You will have to take a bus from AC to Spring Lake (or at least to Bay Head). The train does not run between them--there is a train line that runs from NY down to Bay Head, and another one that runs from Philadelphia to AC, but that stretch of the southern NJ shore between Bay Head and AC does not have train service. The NJ Transit website has a trip planner tool that can tell you which buses will work: www.njtransit.com.
