Kuala Lumpur hotels

hello.
my fiance and i will be in KL on August 17.
we have 3 hotels to consider based on the online reviews and
our budget of (USD120 per night)
kindly help us to choose between these 3 hotels:
(or are there better hotels than these 3?)

1. Crown Plaza
2. Hotel Maya
3. Impinana KLCC Hotel

we like a hotel that has a good location, nice view of the twin towers, nice amenities & friendly staff.

Thanks!

hi,
Just go for the Crowne Plaza! It is very near the twin towers. It is centrally located, the train station is just across the road, shopping areas are close by,kl aquarium is also close by.The staff are good and helpful. The ambience is just great. They have a choice of restraunts.Their breakfast spread(complimentary with the room)is lavish.
However, while planning trips, such as to the Genting Highlands etc.,do it on your own and not through the hotel tours. This way you will save and perhaps get a better deal.
Hope this helps,
have a good trip,
Vpas

Hi!

Based on your requirements, I suggest you stay in Hotel Maya - nice amenities & view of the twin towers. It is also walking distance to the twin towers and short train/monorail ride away to other places in the city. Second option will be Crowne Plaza but you may leave out Impiana - it is a good hotel but too close to the twin towers, you can't really hve nice view of the towers frm the hotel.

You could look at the following hotels that I've used in the past, Renaissance, Prince and Dorsett Regency. They all have views of the towers, just remember to stipulate it in your booking. My favourite is Renaissance, the breakfast is amazing and the swimming pool is massive! The foolowing links are the ones I've found the cheapest and reliable. www.asiarooms.com www.marimari.com

Enjoy Malaysia - I did :)

Have you check Traders Hotel? It's located at the KL Convention Centre. Ask for a room with the KLCC park view. I heard the view is amazing.

As locals i prefer Impiana KLCC as it the latest hotel at klcc area and its just opposite to petronas twin tower. crown plaza located behind the impiana. meanwhile maya is quite away from klcc and in front of zouk kl.
