Hi and thanks to all those that helped with my previous queries.

I have decided to omit La Paz.

Ok, this is what i fancy doing!!!!!!

1)Arrive quito and go straight to the galapogos

2) Quito to Cusco for a few days then on train to Macchu PIcchu for overnight.

3) Back to Cusco to go on train to Puno 2 nights. Take a trip to sun island via copocabana ( 1 night)

4) Miss ouot La Paz - take train back to cusco and then get on flight to santiagao de chile

5) If not gone to galapogos then maybe trip to easter islands

6) Fly from santiago to Buenos Airies for a few nights

7) Buenos Airies to Brazil beach ( not too touristy,), then 2 day trip to falls before return to fly home from Rio.

So my questions are

When is the best time to do this weather wise?

Will 3 - 4 weeks be OK?

I am Uk citizen, do i need visas in advance?

Should i miss out Argentina and Brazil and take a round the world ticket to get to Easter Island ( I think this will be expensive to visit>? I suppose at least theni could beach it up for 5 odd days in the south pacific

Any one got any ideas?

I think november is fine,because good temperature and not that much tourist yet like december.But my suggestion is you should go to one country at a time for example Argentina is great,good people,very beautiful landscape.I love this country so much.Go backpack alone is so fine for young man like you.But I think you need 1 mounth for the whole country.You know? the long bus ride is so fun for me,they have good service bus like "andes mar".Go everywhere you can,and don't miss Ushuaia.From there you may take boat to visit your colony "falkland",but I didn't go because I need visa.About visa I'm not sure that you need one or not,you have to study yourself.To go to Easter island you better do it next time with the combination of Chilli that I'm going to do this november.When I come back ,I'll tell you..

Considering the previous posts' recommendation for visiting Ushuaia, I do not think your travel schedule would allow for that much of a detour much less going to the Falklands.....as for Easter Island, you still would not get any beach days in the South Pacific since Easter Island really isn't in the SP. Not sure you would get much beach weather there since the climate tends to be rather mild, and breezy. If you want to go you can include Easter Island on the Visit South America Pass from One World. For this trip, do not bypass Buenos Aires and Rio. You might consider Buzios or Paratay, Brazil for beach towns both are close to Rio. Another choice much further south of Rio would be the Island of Santa Catarina. Really outstanding place to visit and beaches are great. GOL has flights there and would then be easy to catch an onward flight on GOL to Rio.

Forgot your visa and weather questions, nationals of the UK will not require a VISA from any of the countries you would visit. All would provide tourist visas at your entry point. As for best time, for the beaches in Brazil summer is December to March. But that is the rainy season in Peru. So you could do the last two and 1/2 weeks of November and visit the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Puno and Bolivia excusion, and Buenos Aires. Then first of December to Igauzu Falls then end with the beach holiday and and finally Rio.

Hi Im Julia and I think your trip is fantastic!
I wouldnt miss Argentina and Brazil bouth are such a great countries.You will have much fun there, I have been to Argentina and stayed at the Garden house Art Factory where they told me lots of diferents tours to do and olso you can go to Uruguay and visit Colonia for one day , its great place to visit.
