| State of Victoria | Hot Pools in Victoria Posted: Tue July 1, 2008 01:04 PM UTC
The husband has received his vouchers for senior persons' train travel anywhere in Victoria. Which is great.
I was thinking as the weather is so cold and dreary he would enjoy soaking in a hot pool. You know, a mineral spring. Does anyone know of any that are on the train route? Thanking you. |

There is one down on the Mornington Peninsula near Moonah Links Golf Course that I have been thinking of trying out myself. I normally drive down to the Peninsula but I think you could change trains at Frankston and continue on to Rye which it is probably the closest station.

Just clarifying my answer which sounds a bit misleading I'm afraid. To the best of my knowledge the train only goes as far as Frankston so you would have to take the bus from Frankston to Rye.

it is good of you to give me this info - but that would be a very short train trip indeed for my guy - I was hoping for something a little further away from where we live

Craic what are 'his senior vouchers'??? Do the 'oldies but goodies' get to travel via train for free/discount in Australia?
Or he won some free tickets or something. Just curious :) Mike

There are thermal baths at Daylesford but I don,t know if there is a train to D,ford. I,m a former Vicorian but haven,t lived there for many years and imagine the train lines are scarce now, perhaps google vicrail and see where the trains go then decide on a destination.
