OCT 1: Bosphorus Cruise (WED ) –From Taksim to Kabatas by Funicular – From Kabatas to Eminonu take the tram. From Prier 3 take the Scenic Bosphorus cruise, leaving at 10:35 AM. to Rumeli Kavagi reaching at 11:55 AM. After a seafood lunch, ride south stopping at the Yildiz Palace and Park, from Rumeli Kavagi take minibus – (Which No.? from Where) to Ortakoy travelling along the Bosporus. Stop in trendy Ortakφy for seaside tea and snacks, Dolmabahce palace (stay for 1 hr) from Ortakoy take a bus (Which No? From where) or taxi. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from the palace to Kabatash. Take funicular from Kabatash to taksim..

from Rumeli Kavagi take minibus – (Which No.? from Where) to Ortakoy travelling along the Bosporus.

Just write this turkish sentence on a paper and ask some one:

"Ortakoy'e gitmek istiyorum. Hangi dolmus veya otobus'e binebilirim. Lutfen bana yardimci olunuz?"

"I want to go to Ortakoy. Which dolmush or bus should I take? Please help me."

To Dolmabahce from Ortakoy you can walk half an hour or take a taksi or by bus

Please relax, you already have lots of info and too much plan :)

Istanbul is a city full of surprises, colors, little but attractive corners those can make you change your way.

For example, I am going to Cuba in 10 days for 3 weeks, and have NOTHING reserved except my plane ticket. No reservation, no hotel, no domestic bus ticket, no route yet. I am just reading the culture and history.

When you ask someting to people, they will never leave you without help.

By the way your plan is an optimum one to see as much as possible in limited days.

Please keep in mind that there can be issues with the traffic. Ortakoy is a very popular place and if the weather is nice you certainly will have delays because of the traffic.Good plan but in Istanbul you should be more spontaneous and you should have alternatives. I am almost certain that there will be something that will keep you from being punctual.There is a bus station at Ortakoy. Most of the busses will take you either to Taksim or to Kabatas. just say Kabatash to the bus driver, even if he doesnt know English he will say yes or no.
