| Copenhagen | Denmark Itinerary Help Needed Posted: Tue July 1, 2008 05:29 AM UTC
I am taking an early ferry from Sweden to Helsingor, and then traveling down the coast. I would like to know any interesting stops along the way. I won't have much time, though, since I'm heading onto Svendborg and the ferry to Aero where (I'll visit for a few hours, then head back to Svendborg).
The following day, I plan to drive around Fyn before heading back to Copenhagen later in the day. Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible route to take in Fyn, or towns to visit. Thanks for any help. |

between helsinør and copenhagen you have what is mabye the best art museum in denmark.
it´s called louisiana: www.louisiana.dk from svendborg i would suggest that you first drive to faborg. a very pretty seaside town. then to the castle "egeskov" which is on the way to odense, where you would probaply also want to make a stop. if there is any time left then kerteminde is also a very pretty little town.

You haven't told us anything about your special interests but at Rungstedlund, about 15 miles north of Copenhagen, you will find the Museum of Karen Blixen who wrote Out of Africa (amongst many other things). More details are on my Copenhagen Things to Do page.
