We will be in BA from late September to early October. I realize it will be about spring, but what will the weather be like, and what kind of dress is typical at that time (is it warm enough for sandals/sleeveless tops, or would layering be a good idea?)

You can expect averages of daytime highs in the high 60's lows in the low 50's. Obviously you may have some days that are warmer and some that are cooler. You can also expect some rain especially in October. So prepare for layers.

Hey,
Although it technically is spring, Argentinean weather is not 100% safe. Though it might not be really cold, be prepared for lots of rain and humidity. Also bring layers, as the nights can cool down considerably, and fairly strong winds are frequent. Cheers

You have to bring a sweater because spring right now is not like years ago.
