To expand on previous response: German railways offer two levels of discount to people booking in advance on-line: on each train a certain number of 'deep discount' tickets and a certain number of 'not quite so deep discount' tickets are allocated. (The discount fares Bremen to Berlin are 29 and 39 euros) The availability of these tickets, especially the deep discount ones, will decrease as the departure date approaches. I usually try to book rail tickets several (and at least 2) weeks in advance. So the big question is: when will you be travelling? If it's quite soon, get online to www.db.de now...
If you can, in my opinion, it's worth trying a German high-speed ICE at least once - but perhaps that my opinion because we don't have high-speed trains in Britain!
