Finding the train ticket from Vienna to Salzburgh is a bit high(around Euros44), thought taking a bus which could be cheaper.Checked the website but shows so many stops(change the buses?).Could you please let me know where to find bus schedules and /or how much would be the bus fare?Anyhelp would be greatful.Thanks in advance.

the bussystem is not very good, transport is mainly done by train in Austria.
Maybe you are under 26, then I know a way that you pay just half of that price !

The short answer: From Vienna to Salzburg the only practical public transport choice is train.
The long answer: In Austria, just like in many other European countries the bus system exists to serve places not served by trains. So trying to use it to avoid taking a train is often quite complicated, or downright impossible as busses are not intended to be used for this. Buses are local transport, not intercity transport. The completely wrong answer: Eurolines, who can only transport you from places within Austria to places outside of Austria (and vice versa).
