Hi .. plan to go o Sukhothai this weekend
But a friend reminded me about the rainy weather, so can any of you help and tell me how is the weather in Sukhothai nowadays? Appreciate if also you can recommend to stay for 1 night near the ruins? Thank you |

The weather is getting more and more into the monsoon season, so you should definitely be prepared for rain. It might not rain everyday, and even when it rains it is not for all day. But it can be a good downpour.
As for recommendations, I stayed at Banthai guest house when I was there. Really friendly people, happy to help set up bike rentals and other stuff you might need. Also has great pineapple pancakes for breakfast. mmmmm. You can find them at 38 Pravet Nakhorn Rd. Sukhothai, or call them at 055-610-163. The website they had when I was there no longer exists.
