Can some advise me the cost of getting a taxi from Phuket airport to Patong beach.
Also, can anyone recommend some good and not expensive authentic thai restaurants. Can anyone recommend a good thai cooking class. Regards Marco |

The taxi should cost about 600THB although it may have gone up a bit recently due to higher fuel costs.

Hello,Try Pum's restaurant on Rhat-U-Thit Road for a cooking class....They have good reviews and it will cost from 1500 baht up to 2600 baht I think,depending on what you cook and for how long...I noticed Pum's cooking class brochures at various tour stands...It might be possible to get a better price from the tour desks...??...If you're staying in patong,then Pum's is convenient...
We ate at Cafe Spatz in Soi Wattana Clinic just off Thaveewong Road every second night,nit noi..??..well medium..!!...great service by a happy,smiling waitress...great cheap thai food and spend 100 baht per person,you get free internet for half an hour....What a deal...!!!...This restaurant is one of our favourites...!!!
