Hi all,
Do you know a nice and cheap seaside location in Turkey to spend 3 days in August, travelling by bus from Cappadocia and then going back to Istanbul? No cruises considered. Thanks |

i would recommend the coastline between antalya and marmaris.
towns like kas, kalkan and patara are very nice and laid back coastal towns.

I'ts a long way from cappadocia to Iskenderum. South of Antalya try CIRALI , the most beautiful beach.

My vote also goes to Cirali..
Cirali is an agricultural village in the southwest of Turkey in Antalya Province. It is close to ancient ruins of Olympos and Chimaera permanent gas vents. It is a very small rural village located just over an hours drive southwest from Antalya and boasts a beautiful 3.5 km secluded beach, the ruins of Olympos, the flames of the Chimaera / Yanartas;, as well as being a protected area by the WWF for the nesting of the Caretta or also known as the Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Also nearby to Cirali; is the Ulupinar region, which is rich in rivers and creeks. Cirali is one of the last unspoilt natural areas along the Antalya coastline. You can easily get over night buses to Antalya ( 9 hrs ) and then public transportation to Cirali about 1.5 hrs away..

I would recommend Kudassi (sorry about the spelling) Its quite nice and at the same time if you get bored with the sea and the sand you can always visit Ephesus and it is also easy journey to istanbul - so you won't feel too deflated from your coach journey when you get back to Istanbul - I recommend you visit Hostelbookers.com I'm just sorting out my accomodation - hope this helps.
