Hello,
Does anyone know about boats that go up the Batang Rejang? We want to take the boat trip from Kuching to Sibu and have heard there are two that leave at 8.30 and 12.30 each day from suburb called Pending, not far from city centre. Is this easy to get to? Can you book the boats or do you just pay when you get to wharf? Is there any trouble getting a ride? We have accommodation booked further on and don't want to miss the boat. Also if we went to Bako Nat Park the day before and returned that morning and went straight to wharf, is this possible to catch the 12.30 boat or would it be rushing it too much? Thanks for any help. |
