Has anyone please got any info on getting a bus from Vienna or the outskirts to Bratislava - may be this will be better than driving. Thank you |

Yeah, the train - but isn't there a boat that goes along the Danube as well!

The bus is right outside the airport and takes you to Vienna. When we set off from Skavsta airport in sweden they were even selling tickets there for the bus to Vienna!. The airport at Bratislava is small, so it is easy to find everything, the bus will drop you just in front of the departure area. We rented a car, so I never looked up the details about the bus, but it didn't seem too expensive. I hope this is of some help. By car it took about 1 and half hours to drive from Vienna to Bratislava airport.

I wouldn't take the bus from Vienna airport to Bratislava airport, as you will then have to find your way from the airport to central Bratislava.
