On Maryland Parkway, about 2 miles south of the strip, is a mall with Circuit City and Best Buy. Those 2 have great pricing. Fry's on the strip just past the airport also has great prices.

Why buy your camcorder here,if you buy it here in the US it will be in NTSC system format,it will not work with the UK system PAL

Yes with dvd ,dvd is broken into 9 region USA & Canada region 1 the UK and Europe is region 2,it is the different frames played or recorded per second. With camcorder they all use NTSC in USA are 29 frames per second and PAL is 25 per second.

Last time I was there my camera broke and I had to go buy a new one, there isn't any store on the strip that has any kind of worth while electronic equipment so I had to take a taxi and drive about 20min to the nearest Best Buy. Prices for electronics are the same in Las Vegas as all over the states don't expect to find any special bargains.
