| Estado de Chihuahua | Visiting the Waterfalls around the Cooper Canyon.... Posted: Sun June 29, 2008 02:13 PM UTC
Hello Friends,
I wish to travel on the EL Chepe train to Chihuahua,my main interest would be the waterfalls (Basaseachich and Piedra Volada Falls). Can someone help me please,as I do not have any idea on how to get to the Piedra Volada Falls, I will probably get off at Creel, how far is this place from Creel And also how to get there? Any tips would be more than apreciated. Thanks again |

Hi from Creel is 2.30 hrs trip to Basaseachi where is the walter fall.
But to Piedra Volada you need to make a hiking trip all day last week we make 9 hrs... and the Piedra Volada waterfall dont have water all the time... The canyon "Candameña" is impressive... worth the trip... If you dont have enough time... better visit only Basaseachi :)
