We will be in Munich on 10-2 until 10-4. I have been looking for tent tickets and am finding out that reserved seats are usually sold by 10 seats and I only need two tickets. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get tickets or has 2 to sell? We know we might be able to get into a tent if we go early etc. Any suggestions would be most helpful! Thanks.

The best way to enter the tents IS really going there quite early. There are special tents for young people (Schottenhammel, Hacker tent) and famous ones like the Augustiner tent. The beer tents usually open at 9 am, so if you want to get in to get a seat, be there at 8.30 am. If you go inside you should remain at your table, otherwise you will not be permitted to reenter. If you stay there until the afternoon, people might be leaving, so you could maybe enter another tent. But you have to be lucky!
