| Glasgow | How to get to South Street Posted: Sun June 29, 2008 01:30 PM UTC
Hi friends:
Next August I will go to Glasgow, and O'd like to ask you: . How can I get from the International airport to South Street? - How to get from the city centre to South Street? - How to find accommodation nearby?, I mean, what is the name of the area? Thanks. Santi |

South Street in the north west of the city runs from Partick to Scotstoun, it is the closest street to the River on the north bank. It is quite a long street and has large engineering works at it`s west end.
From the airport you could get a bus into the city centre and a bus out to South Street. There are a few other ways to go once you get to know your way. From South Street all buses going east go to the city centre and you may be close to a train station too. It depends what sort of accomodation you are looking for but there are flats for rent in areas around Partick and along Dumbarton Road.
