| Vietnam | Hotel in Hoi Chi Minh Posted: Sun June 29, 2008 11:07 AM UTC
Hi all, we are just new to this site. We are in our early 50's and have booked flights to Vietnam for 3 weeks,in September.Flying into Ho Chi Minh, thought we'd stay 3 nights, would love some help. To start off with, need advice on Hotels. Pool and medium price range, with ease to sight seeing.
regards, The Butlers. |

Hello fellow Aussie.
We had 3 weeks in Vietnam in September 06 and travelled - Hanoi to Halong Bay (overnight on boat) to Hoi An to Nha Trang to Ho Chi Ming. We had an excellent experience. We can suggest hotels that we stayed in if you wish but as a rule of thumb we stayed in 3 and 4 star hotels booked through Asiarooms.com and had no problems. The main feature of this site is that the reviews of the hotels that other travellers posted were spot on and we would trust it again. The only variation to the above was in Hanoi where we stayed in a 2 star hotel and was surprised how good it was. While in Hanoi make sure you seek out Cafe Nhan not far from the lake in the Old Quarter EXCELLENT For more info contact us on our new email- lmtreloar@optusnet.com.au
