Generally, I click new notification in Notice Console to get that page directly. This time, I went directly to new notification manually via main page without using link on Notice console. After that I refreshed Notice console, it was still showing that notification as unread msg only.

If you don't view it via the console, then it doesn't change from "unread".

YEah the whole notification system is being revamped. I just meant it isn't a bug :-) That was your question. Have fun!!
