Dear travelers
We will spending our honeymoon in the Seychelles from 5 sep. until 27 sep.
we land on Mahé. we would love to have some advice from the islands .
we dont know what is the best to do , we love nice beaches but we love also a bit walking around in the evenings and visiting some local rstaurants. but not to touristic. and to expencive ( if thats possible on the seychelles??)
we love to do some nice snorkeling , is it possible to have good snorkelplaces direct from the beach or do U have to go out on a boat?
i heard that on some islands u have to go on the right side of the island becouse the waves can be bigger on one side that the other and swimming can be dangerous. we would love to get some advice from nice accomadation on the islands ( Mahe , la digue , praslin ) 100 € a nigth approx.
thanx for the info.

much greetings Stef & Chris.

If you want some action in the evening it would be on Mahé (around Victoria). The restaurants on the island are more or less only for tourists. Nice beaches are every where. One snorkel place direct from the beach was on Praslin (Anse Lazlo) as everywhere on the island the tide will give you the time when to do it. For example on La Digue you bicycle around the island following low tide (avoiding waves, finding sand to lay on). For some accomodation check my page.
