| Pisa | somewhere to stay in Lucca 27 ad 28 July for summer festival, ideas please Posted: Sat June 28, 2008 01:58 PM UTC
Hi, I am flying to Pisa and would like to know how far Lucca is and best way to get there, and would also welcome any suggestions for a single female traveller as to where to stay for just the two nights, I do prefer family B&B or similar, but all suggestions welcome. I want to be fairly near the place Napoleone where the festival takes place

I took the train. It is easy to get around on the trains in Italy. I also travel solo in Italy- take the normal care you would as a female on your own in any city and you will be fine.
