Can anyone tel me how to get from the Airport to Vaci utca street... I know there is a train from the airport to the city center but don't know how to carry on from the center to Vaci utca?

The train brings you from the airport to the Nyugati-pu.-Railwaystation.(Fare is about 1 Euro) There you should take the M3 blue line metro and the second, the third and the fourth station are good to Váci utca. Which station to get out, it depends on that, which part of Váci utca you want to visit.

Hi Several years ago we took a taxi, it was approx 30 Euro, for the 2 of us I thought it was worth it to get to our hotel without warry.

you will enjoy Budapest, I still regard it as one of my favourite European cities. Much to see 7 Do. Recommend you research VT pages as you will gain much info on where to go.

little misunderstanding regarding to street/ut/utca..

utca already means street.

Vaci ut (ave) and Vaci utca (str) are in two different locations! One of them is 13. district, and the other is 5. district.

actually, nonono:-)

abbreviation for UTCA is only U.


there is no abbreviation for ÚT
