We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 and 9) and will be be in London for 3 days....have been looking for a good hotel either on Leicester Square
or near any other tube station (close access to sightseeing spots)...having a problem finding a room which can accomodate all 4 of us. Any suggestions are welcome...thx |

We were recently in London with our children and grandchildren and got 2 rooms for 4 at the Blandford Hotel. The rooms are small but the hotel is very nice and well located, about a block from the Baker Street tube stop. You can see more about it at: http://www.capricornhotels.co.uk/bforddefault.asp
We thoroughly enjoy it and returned because my wife had stayed there several years ago and because it was one of the few we could find with rooms for 4. I love it and its location and the only negative would be the small rooms, but it is clean, the staff is excellent and the full English breakfast (included in the price) good ans served in a very attractive room.

Try using the search enhine at the official London tourist info site:
http://www.visitlondon.com/accommodation/ It will allow you to search by room type (i.e. 1 room for 2 adults + 2 children) and location. You can then either book through the site or find the hotel on another site and use that.

Travelodge also has family rooms, as does Premier Inn and Express by Holiday Inn.
