Hi All,
Would anyone have a listing of recommended Tailors with websites (possibly) / addresses where i can get business suits and shirts made? Also, how long does it usually take Malaysian Tailors to make 7 suits / 7 shirts? |

I've used a fabulous tailor in KL several times on vists to Malaysia.
His name is Albert Yap & you can find him in Little India. His design studio is on the second floor of the fabric shop called "Maya" His mobile number- 013 671 4969. Now he's only ever made stuff for me, but this year (we'll be there first week of August)my hubby wants to get some trousers made. He charges 150RM for the tailoring of mens trousers- which is a bargain to us :-) But most importantly he's always done a great job. If you do go to see him- tell him Ellen from Australia recommended him to you (or else I believe they also call me the "Pink Lady" -kinda have a thing for pink :-)

Just make sure they do one first and then give the rest.This way you wouldnt end up too unhappy in any case!

never really heard a lot of making suits in Kuala Lumpur...but am sure its more popular in Bangkok instead.

I will be there on my last leg in KL around the same time your hubby gets his pants made (Early August) I'll visit him and hopefully this Tailor can make suits.
