| Shenzhen | visa Posted: Thu June 26, 2008 11:49 PM UTC
Hi,
Can a visa be organized at singapore airport? I am coming from australia and will have a few hours to kill and looking at going to Shenzhen for 3 nights. I have heard it is a hassle to get a visa done in Melbourne Australia. Also, for October, what roughly would be the price? |

No, you'd have to come into the city. I'm not aware that you can get visas to other countries while you're waiting at the airport.
The issue seems to be the Olympic's. Wait until after August.

Hi
I hope you can advise me as well. I was planning to meet my fiance in Shenzhen in 10 days. When she applied for a visa in Thailand she was refused because the hotel booking was in my name, not hers. I assume this is Olympics related. We now have to get a visa in HKG. Can you, or someone lese, please tell me the quickest way to get a visa once we arrive in HKIA? I already have one so its just for her. Thanks Neamman

You are best to contact a travel/visa agent in Hong Kong to arrange this. You may be able to do it yourslelf at the China Visa Office but expect to be frustrated.
The rules are strict at the moment and they are up to date on what you need. There are plenty of them that can assist. United Travel in Central may be able to help or in Kowloon JCC-Yamato. Both do a good job but are not the cheapest around (the best seldom is)
