| Ireland | looking for St Ciaran medal Posted: Thu June 26, 2008 04:13 AM UTC
I hope this question meets the criteria for posting. I have a grandson named Ciaran. I wonder if anyone visiting Clanmacnoise remembers if there is a shop there that might sell these medals. We have purchased a book about St Ciaran, but would love to give him a medal for his First Communion. I have not been able to find one anywhere in the US.
Thank you so much to anyone who can help. I've been to Ireland many years ago, and hope to take Ciaran there someday soon. |

I too looked, out of curiousity. I didn't find any medals either. You might try the following web site: www.ardaghdiocese.org. Gary

There is a St.Ciaran's Parish near Dublin. They possibly would know of a source for such an item. The web site: www.st-ciarans-parish.ie/st-ciarans-parish.html. There is also an American church which sells St. Kieran Medals. The web site: www.stkieranchurch.org/Purchase_the_St_Kieran_Medal.html. Gary
