Can you tell me of cheap budget hostels/Backpacking accomoation close or in the heart of Zurich and easily accessible to all main attractions, transport and other facilities.

I've checked with them but they are fully book for the dates requested.Any other suggestions?

hi,
You could try IPR guest house which is very near(walking distance from)the main rail station.The have different types of rooms(one's with kitchen,shared bathrooms etc.),and charge accordingly.You can find them in www.bedandbreakfast.ch..IT is an extremely clean and decent place and the staff service is one the best I have come across.They let you use a common kitchen/microwave and dont even charge for it.
