We are arriving in Tanzania Oct 19th - we have until the end of November - does anyone know the best time to go gorilla trekking in this time frame. I understand Oct - Nov is the rainy season - is it still possible to get good photographs is this season?
We will arrange our own travel to Kigali - any advice on the best local agency for gorilla trekking.

All gorilla tours are arranged by the Rwanda Tourist Board. They issue the permits and treks leave from their office in Musanze. Travel to their offices should be arranged by private transport. They supply trackers etc. I think the fees are ca US$ 500 per person for foreigners. Their contact details are:

Its very easy to get a Jeep with driver in Kampala. Its not a company and much cheaper.
