| Stockholm | best way to get from stockholm to copenhagen Posted: Wed June 25, 2008 04:33 AM UTC
We will be leaving stockholm on Aug 23. Debating whether to fly or take the train. The cheap train goes to Malmo then Copenhagen. There is about 18 minutes to switch trains in Malmo. Is that enough time to find the right platform? Is flying a better option. Thanks for any thought

Ops...Sorry, there is no direct night train any longer:( Only during the day). 18 minutes is enough (if the train makes on time).

There is a direct train Stockholm-Copenhagen on Aug 23 according to http://www.sj.se/sj/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=10&l=en:
14:20 Stockholm C - 19:33 Copenhagen H SJ, X 2000 5371st Cl: A seat reservation, Internet, hot drinks, fruit and Swedish daily newspapers are included. 2nd Cl: Seat reservation included. Price for 1 adult, no discounts, as of today Jun 25: First class: 476 SEK Second class: 400 SEK They have other departures where you have to change trains, and booking the whole journey with them might be the best because then they're responsible to book you on a later departure from <changing point> to Copenhagen in case of delay. But that's just my opinion. As always, the earlier you book the tickets the cheaper it is. The airlines that fly Stockholm-Copenhagen are SAS, Sterling and Fly Nordic.
